Head of Legal

At Lendo, we are a fast-growing FinTech company revolutionizing the financial landscape in Saudi Arabia. Through our innovative digital lending platform, we empower businesses by providing fast, reliable, and transparent access to finance. As we continue to scale, we are seeking a strategic and business-minded Head of Legal to join our leadership team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee all legal and regulatory matters, ensure company-wide compliance, and provide expert counsel on corporate contracts, partnerships, and business strategy. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to protect the company’s interests while enabling innovation and growth. Key Responsibilities: 

1. Review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of corporate contracts and lending agreements.

2. Oversee partnerships and ensure that all legal documentation complies with the company's standards.

3. Provide expert advice on financing agreements, collections, and the execution of guarantees.

4. Ensure all contracts, particularly in English and Arabic, are accurately reviewed and meet legal and regulatory standards.

5. Collaborate with internal teams to advise on risk management, compliance, and legal matters.

Qualifications:

1. 5-7 years of experience in corporate law, ideally within the financial services or banking sector.

2. Extensive experience reviewing and drafting lending contracts.

3. Proven expertise in contract negotiation, partnerships, and execution of guarantees.

4. Strong understanding of legal issues related to collections and lending.

5. Bilingual proficiency in both Arabic and English is essential.

6. Experience working with English contracts is a must.
