Network Engineering Specialist

As Lendo continues to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer Specialist to design, implement, and maintain our core network infrastructure. In this role, you’ll ensure secure, reliable connectivity across our systems, troubleshoot complex network issues, and optimize performance to support business operations at scale.

You’ll collaborate closely with our Cybersecurity and IT teams to enforce compliance with internal and external standards, strengthen network defenses, and support continuous improvement across all connectivity layers. By maintaining a proactive approach to network design, monitoring, and incident response, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding Lendo’s technology ecosystem and ensuring seamless business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and support LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud networks.

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (firewalls, routers, switches).

• Implement and manage network segmentation, VPNs, VLANs, and QoS.

• Monitor and report on network performance, optimizing for uptime and reliability.

• Perform troubleshooting and resolve connectivity issues across infrastructure.

• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to enforce access controls, support network security initiatives, and participate in incident response.

• Conduct disaster recovery operations and facilitate network backups.

• Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies, standards, and compliance requirements.

• Manage network infrastructure components such as firewalls, IPSec tunnels, VPN, ZTNA, DNS, routers, and switches.

• Execute day-to-day network change requests, configurations, and updates.

• Assist cybersecurity teams during investigations by providing relevant network data and logs and blocking Indicators of Compromise (IOCs)on the network level.

• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to enforce SAMA compliance and security best practices in network design and operations.

• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, topology, and changes.

• Support the implementation of secure cloud networking strategies and segmentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3+ years of experience managing network infrastructure.

• Knowledge of SAMA cybersecurity regulations and cloud security frameworks.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to work effectively across IT and cybersecurity teams.

 Technical Skills:

• Expertise in firewall configuration and management (e.g., Fortigate, Palo Alto, etc.).

• Proficient with VPN/IPSec tunnels and ZTNA technologies (e.g. Fortinet EMS).

• Hands-on experience with DNS management and network routing protocols.

• Familiar with cloud network architectures (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, CloudWatch).

• Scripting or automation experience for network tasks is a plus.
